Maya serves on the New York City Nonprofit Advisory Services team as the senior managing consultant of Outsourced Accounting Services. She has more than 13 years of industry experience in various finance and accounting roles and as a consultant for small and mid-size businesses.

Brian is a member of Forvis Mazars’ outsourced accounting services (OAS) consulting practice, where he is the Sage Intacct subject matter expert and technical lead and sits on the OAS steering committee. Brian joined Forvis Mazars in 2019 as part of the Technology & Services Practice, where he served as the Sage Intacct consulting team leader and subject matter expert.

He began his career with seven years in public accounting at a firm in Chicago, where he managed various accounting and attestation engagements, tax preparation, and outsourced accounting projects.

Prior to joining Forvis Mazars, Brian spent 11 years serving as chief financial officer for a regional hospitality operator, where he oversaw the accounting and billing departments and was responsible for financial reporting, tax and municipal compliance, treasury management, leasing and real estate, risk management, and investor and banking relationships. Brian’s tenure included the evaluation and implementation of the Sage Intacct ERP in 2009 as well as several other system implementations.

During his time as a Sage Intacct user, he participated in various product marketing efforts and was a contributing member to the Chicago Sage Intacct user group. Brian is a Certified Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist and Certified Sage Intacct Accounting Specialist. He is a 2001 graduate of Krannert School of Management at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, with a B.S. degree in accounting with a minor in management information systems.
